Antonio Ángel es un entusiasta divulgador de la naturaleza, la cultura y el paisaje de la isla de La Palma. Entre otros aspectos, aplica a su trabajo su experiencia en los campos de la etnografía y la arqueología. De hecho, se da la circunstancia de que ha participado y participa en distintos proyectos de investigación relacionados con ambas disciplinas. Diplomado en Turismo y Guía de Turismo de Canarias, es además uno de los primeros profesionales de la isla homologados como Guías Starlight por el Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC), la Fundación Starlight y el Cabildo Insular de La Palma. Este aval reconoce, en palabras del Dr. Luis Martínez Sáez, a los “guías profesionales capaces de aportar a los visitantes una visión del cielo, y en particular del cielo nocturno, como parte integrante de nuestra naturaleza más próxima”. Finalmente, de su experiencia vital en islas como Gran Canaria y Fuerteventura, Antonio Ángel extrae claves interpretativas que revelan a sus clientes los vínculos culturales y naturales compartidos por los siete territorios del archipiélago canario. Con este sólido bagaje a sus espaldas, Antonio Ángel oferta a sus clientes rutas interpretativas por toda la isla, tanto en horario diurno como nocturno. Por el día, aprovechando el clima excepcional de las Canarias y su solvencia como profesional vinculado al senderismo, lleva la interpretación al entorno más próximo. Por la noche, a las estrellas, los planetas y las constelaciones que tan espléndidas lucen en los cielos impolutos de La Palma.

 

 

 

Antonio Ángel is an enthusiastic disseminator of the nature, culture and landscape of the island of de La Palma.One of things he uses in his work is his experience in the fields of ethnography and archaeology. In fact, he has participated, and continues to participate in a range of research projects related to both these disciplines.A graduate in Tourism and a Canary Island Tourist Guide, he is also one of the first homologated Starlight Guide of the island, certified by the Canary Island Astrophysics Institute (IAC, from its initials in Spanish), the Starlight Foundation and the La Palma Island Cabildo (Island Government). In the words of Dr Luis Matinez Sáez, this qualification recognises that they are “professional guides capable of offering visitors a view of the sky and, in particular, of the night sky, as an integral part of the nature all around us”. Finally, Antonio draws on his experiences on islands such as Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura to explain to his clients the cultural and natural ties that are shared by the seven islands of the Canary Island archipelago.With this solid grounding, Antonio Angel offers his clients interpretive routes all over the island, both by day and by night. Taking advantage of the outstanding Canary Island climate and his sound professional rambling background, he takes his clients out into the countryside by day to explain the environment to them, and by night, he explains the stars, planets and constellations that shine so splendidly in the unpolluted skies of La Palma.

 

 

 

 

Antonio Ángel bringt uns mit großer Begeisterung Natur, Kultur und Landschaft der Insel La Palma auf gemeinverständliche Weise näher.Unter anderem wendet er seine Erfahrungen im Bereich der Ethnografie und der Archäologie auf seine Arbeit an. Tatsächlich hat er an verschiedenen Forschungsprojekten beider Disziplinen teilgenommen und nimmt noch daran teil.Mit einem Diplom für Fremdenverkehr und als Fremdenführer von Canarias ist er außerdem einer der ersten Fachleute der Insel, die vom Institut für Astrophysik von Canarias (IAC), der Starlight Stiftung und dem Inselrat von La Palma als Starlight Führer anerkannt wurde. Diese Anerkennung bürgt laut Dr. Luis Martínez Sáez dafür, dass diese „beruflichen Führer imstande sind, den Besuchern eine Vision des Himmels und besonders des Nachthimmels als Bestandteil unserer nächsten Natur zu vermitteln“. Schließlich entnimmt Antonio Ángel seiner Lebenserfahrung auf Inseln wie Gran Canaria und Fuerteventura interpretative Erläuterungen, die seinen Kunden Verbindungen zu Kultur und Natur Bindungen vermitteln, die den sieben Territorien des kanarischen Archipels gemein sind.Mit diesem soliden Grundstock bietet Antonio Ángel seinen Kunden interpretative Routen auf der ganzen Insel, sowohl untertags als auch nachts. Untertags erklärt er unter Ausnutzung des außerordentlichen Klimas der Kanarischen Inseln und seiner Fähigkeit als Fachmann für Wanderungen das naheliegende Umfeld. In der Nacht erklärt er Sterne, Planeten und Konstellationen, die an den klaren Himmeln von La Palma ausgezeichnet leuchten.
