​​​Juan Antonio y Carmelo llegaron a la astronomía por afición, mucho antes de fundar la empresa que hoy gestionan. En 2009, coincidiendo con el Año Internacional de la Astronomía, consideraron que había llegado el momento de arriesgar y convertirse en emprendedores. Y desde entonces contagian su entusiasmo a una cartera de clientes que no para de crecer.

Astrotour oferta servicios astronómicos en sentido amplio. Entre sus productos destacan las actividades de observación del cielo nocturno, bajo la filosofía de “enfocar la ciencia de una manera divertida y sencilla”. La empresa proporciona todos los materiales necesarios, como telescopios, prismáticos y planisferios celestes. Pero sobre todo se encarga de aportar los extensos conocimientos y la vocación didáctica de sus profesionales, reconocidos como Guías Starlight por el Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC), la Fundación Starlight y el Cabildo Insular de La Palma.

En la misma línea, encontramos “Los Senderos Sagrados de los Awara”, una actividad de senderismo nocturno y arqueoastronomía, que pone el acento sobre la importancia que los objetos celestes tenían para los antiguos habitantes de La Palma. O sus actividades específicamente dirigidas a grupos escolares, en las que aprender y disfrutar forman parte de la misma experiencia. O las propuestas enfocadas a astrofotógrafos aficionados y profesionales. O su catálogo de productos astronómicos en venta y alquiler.

Por último, y aprovechando su propia experiencia, Astrotour Isla Bonita se ofrece como empresa consultora en la elaboración de proyectos astronómicos para empresas y administraciones públicas.

The founders came to astronomy through their interest in it, a long time before they founded the company that Carmelo now runs. In 2009, coinciding with International Astronomy Year, they thought the time had come to take the risk and become entrepreneurs. And they have passed their enthusiasm on to an ever-increasing portfolio of customers ever since.

  Astrotour offers a wide range of astronomy services. Their products include observing the night sky, in line with the philosophy of “giving science a simple, entertaining focus”. The company provides all the materials needed, such as telescopes, binoculars and star maps. But, above all they are responsible for providing the extensive knowledge and teaching vocation of their professional Starlight Guides, certified by the Canary Island Astrophysics Institute (IAC), the Starlight Foundation and the La Palma Cabildo (Island Government).Their activities include those specifically aimed a groups of school children, where learning and having fun form part of the experience, and activities aimed amateur and professional astro-photographers, or their catalogue of astronomy products for sale or hire.Finally, and based on their own experience, Astrotour Isla Bonita also acts as a consultant for designing astronomy projects for companies and public administrations.

 

 

 

 

Die Unternehmensgründer kamen aus Liebhaberei zur Astronomie, lange bevor sie das Unternehmen gründeten, das heute von Carmelo verwaltet wird. 2009, im Internationalen Jahr der Astronomie fanden Sie, dass die Zeit gekommen war, etwas zu riskieren und Unternehmer zu werden. Astrotour bietet astronomische Dienstleistungen im weitesten Sinne an. Unter den Produkten sind die Betrachtungen des Nachthimmels unter dem Gesichtspunkt „Wissenschaft mit Vergnügen und einfach betreiben“ hervorzuheben. Das Unternehmen stellt alle notwendigen Materialien wie Teleskope, Ferngläser und Himmelskarten zur Verfügung. Vor allem aber kümmert es sich darum, weitreichende Kenntnisse und die didaktische Berufung ihrer Fachleute, die vom Institut für Astrophysik auf Canarias (IAC) und der Starlight Stiftung und dem Inselrat von La Palma anerkannt sind, beizutragen.

Unter den Aktivitäten gibt es welche, die sich spezifisch an Schülergruppen wenden, wo Lernen und Genießen zur selben Erfahrung gehören, oder die Angebote, die sich an Sternefotografen wenden, die dies als Hobby oder al Beruf betreiben. Oder es gibt den Katalog zum Verkauf oder zur Miete stehender, astronomischer Erzeugnisse.

Schließlich bietet sich Astrotour Isla Bonita unter Nutzung der eigenen Erfahrung als beratendes Unternehmen für die Erstellung astronomischer Projekte für Unternehmen und Öffentliche Behörden an.
