La Casa Rural Carlota se encuentra con el Sol cada mañana. Los primeros rayos, nacidos a 150 millones de kilómetros, viajan hasta acariciar su fachada. Allí los reciben cuatro ventanas con antepechos y una delicada pérgola enmarcada por otros tantos postes de reluciente madera.

Toda la casa abunda, en materiales nobles, que revelan un notable gusto por el detalle. Sea en el marmol travertino del baño, en los estilizados cabeceros de las camas, en los azulejos de la cocina o en los bordados tradicionales que cuelgan de sus paredes, el conjunto resulta armónico y bien afinado.

La vivienda se encuentra a 350 metros sobre el nivel del mar, en una zona cálida, tranquila y rodeada de viñedos. Desde la entrada se divisa todo el frente marítimo oriental de la isla y, con cierta frecuencia, también las siluetas de las islas de La Gomera y Tenerife. El entorno es, además, ideal para el senderismo, ya que a la casa se accede por el Camino del Brezal, que conecta la Playa de los Cancajos y el Refugio de El Pilar a través de la ruta PR LP 18.

Cuando cae la noche, y el reloj solar del jardín se apaga, el horizonte se viste con un telón de estrellas. Es el momento de sacarle partido a las monturas de telescopios dotadas de corriente eléctrica con las que está equipada la casa. O simplemente de reclinarse a contemplar el Universo... hasta que el Sol nos acaricie de nuevo con su siguiente aurora.

 

 

 

The Carlota country cottage meets the sun every morning. The first rays, born 150 million kilometres away, travel through space to caress its facade. They are received their by four windows with parapets and a delicate pergola framed by four shiny wooden posts.Noble materials abound throughout the house, revealing a pronounced taste for detail. Whether it is in the Travertino marble of the bathroom, in the stylish headboards of the beds, in the tiles of the kitchen or in the traditional embroideries that hang from the walls, the result is one of refined harmony.The house is 350 metres above sea level, in a warm, quiet area, surrounded by vineyards. From the entrance, you can see the entire eastern shoreline of the island and quite frequently, you can also see the silhouettes of the islands of La Gomera and Tenerife. Moreover, the setting is ideal for hiking, as access to the house is provided by the Camino del Brezal (the Heather Trail) that connects Los Cancajos beach with the El Pilar Refuge along the PR LP 18 trail.When night falls and the sun dial in the garden stops, the horizon becomes draped in a star-studded curtain. Now is the time to make the most of the electric telescopes the house if equipped with. Die Ländliche Unterkunft Carlota hat jeden Morgen ein Stelldichein mit der Sonne. Die ersten Sonnenstrahlen, die 150 Millionen Kilometer entfernt entspringen, reisen, bis sie die Fassade streicheln können. Dort werden sie von vier Fenstern mit Fensterbrettern und einer delikaten Pergola die von ebenso vielen Pfosten aus glänzendem Holz eingerahmt wird, empfangen-Im ganzen Haus herrschen wertvolle Materialien vor, die einen bemerkenswerten Sinn fürs Detail zeigen. Sei es nun der Travertin im Badezimmer, die stilisierten Kopfenden der Betten, die Fliesen in der Küche oder die traditionellen Stickereien, die an den Wänden hängen, das Gesamtbild ist harmonisch und gut abgestimmt.Das Wohnhaus befindet sich 350 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel in einer warmen, ruhigen, von Weinbergen umgebenen Gegend. Vom Eingang aus kann man die gesamte östliche Meeresküste der Insel und öfter auch die Silhouetten der Insel La Gomera und Teneriffa sehen. Die Umgebung ist außerdem ideal zum Wandern, da man über den Camino del Brezal, der den Strand Los Cancajos und die Schutzhütte El Pilar durch die Route PR LP 18 verbindet, zum Haus kommt.Wenn die Nacht kommt und die Sonnenuhr im Garten erlischt, verkleidet sich der Horizont mit einem Sternenvorhang. Jetzt ist es an der Zeit, die mit Strom versehenen Teleskopständer zu nutzen, mit denen das Haus ausgestattet ist. Oder man kann sich einfach zurücklehnen und das Weltall betrachten, bis die Sonne uns wieder mit dem nächsten Aufgang streichelt.
