La casa Los Abuelos se ubica en la zona de Arecida, en Tijarafe, en el oeste de la isla , zona que brinda durante todo el año uno de los mejores climas de La Palma. 

Originalmente esta antigua construcción que data de principios del siglo XVIII, fue el hogar de pastores y agricultores. Remodelada para ofrecer un lugar agradable y acogedor, pero sin perder la esencia original. Esas fueron las consignas que mantuvo el propietario al momento de ser rehabilitada. El elemento dominante en sus amplios patios y jardines es la piedra y se han conservado antiguos instrumentos de este material (piedras de moler grano, piletas). En sus terrazas podemos contemplar magníficos atardeceres, uno de los momentos más bellos del día, especialmente en esta zona de la Isla. El interior de las casas ofrece un ambiente sumamente acogedor, con un gran respeto por la arquitectura original de la construcción. Cada ambiente goza de la luz natural del sol, y con vistas a los jardines y huertos. Su gran piscina ofrece la posibilidad de disfrutar de unos placenteros baños y sus amplias orillas, equipadas con confortables tumbonas, un espacio inmejorable para tomar sol. Todo el conjunto esta situado en una finca dedicada al cultivo del aguacate, y dispuestos para el uso de los huéspedes, una gran cantidad de frutales (naranjas, papayas, nísperos, mangos, etc.). Otro elemento destacable es la rehabilitación de una antigua cueva, a la cual se le ha agregado la barbacoa, las mesas y todos los elementos necesarios para disfrutar de inolvidables momentos. Todo esto, unido a sus maravillosas vistas al mar y a los pinares, hacen de esta casa el lugar ideal para disfrutar de unos días de descanso y relax que, seguramente, se recordaran por mucho tiempo. Casa Los Abuelos A comparte la piscina y la barbacoa con Casa Los Abuelos B. Las dimensiones de la piscina son: 10m x 4m y su profundidad es de 1.80m, 1.60m y 1.50m. A la finca se accede por una pista en cuyo final se encuentran las casas Los Abuelos. Esto hace del lugar un sitio sumamente silencioso y aislado de ruidos de vehículos. La pista esta asfaltada y dista 500 mts. de la carretera principal, la cual nos lleva al pueblo de Tijarafe tras un corto recorrido de unos 5 minutos, dando al lugar un perfecto equilibrio entre tranquilidad y disponibilidad de servicios (farmacia, supermercado, banco, etc. ).

 

 

 

 

Los Abuelos cottage is located in the area of Arecida, in Tijarafe, in the west of the island, offering one of the best climates on La Palma. 

The original building dates back to the early 18th century, when it was home to herdsmen and farmers. Refurbished to offer a pleasant, cosy place, but without losing its original essence. These were the owner’s instructions on starting the refurbishment. The prevailing element in its spacious courtyards and gardens is stone, and old stone instruments have been conserved (mill stones for grinding cereals, wash basins). The terraces are perfect for watching magnificent sunsets, one of the most beautiful moments of the day, especially in this part of the Island. The interior of the house offers a very welcoming atmosphere, with great respect paid to the original architecture. Each room enjoys natural sunlight and views over the gardens and allotments. The large swimming pool offers you the chance to enjoy a pleasurable dip, and the spacious deck around it, with sun loungers, is the perfect place for sun-bathing. The whole complex is located on a farm that grows avocado pears, and there are orchards for guests to enjoy too (oranges, papaya, loquat, mango, etc.). Another leading element is the refurbishment of an old cave, which has been fitted out with a barbecue, tables and everything you need to enjoy some unforgettable moments. All this, together with its wonderful vies of the sea and the pine forest make this cottage the ideal place to enjoy a few days of rest and relaxation that we are sure you will remember for years to come. 

Casa Los Abuelos A shares the swimming pool and the barbecue with Casa Los Abuelos B. The pool measures: 10m x 4m with depths of 1.80m, 1.60m and 1.50m. 

You get to the farm along a track, with Los Abuelos cottages at the end of it. This makes the whole place completely silent and isolated from traffic noise. The track is surfaced and is only 500m from the main road to the town of Tijarafe just 5 minutes away, hence striking a perfect balance between peace and quiet on the one hand, and services (chemist, supermarket, bank, etc.) on the other.

It is fitted with a dome with a telescope and a basic astronomy library so that you can enjoy a special nocturnal experience.

 

 

 

 

Das Haus Los Abuelos liegt in der Gegend von Arecida, in Tijarafe im Westen der Insel, einer Gegend, die während des gesamten Jahres die besten Klimabedingungen auf von La Palma bietet.Ursprünglich war dieses alte, zu Beginn des 18. Jahrhunderts erbaute Gebäude, Heimstatt von Hirten und Bauern. Es wurde umgebaut, um einen angenehmen und gemütlichen Ort zu schaffen, dessen ursprüngliche Essenz jedoch erhalten blieb. Dieses Ziel hatte sich der Eigentümer während der Wiederherstellung gesetzt. In den weitläufigen Innenhöfen und Gärten ist Stein das dominierende Element und es sind alte Gegenstände aus diesem Material (Mühlsteine, Tröge) erhalten. Auf den Terrassen können wir herrliche Abenddämmerungen genießen, die besonders in diesem Teil der Insel einer der schönsten Augenblicke des ganzen Tages sind. Im Inneren bieten die Häuser ein äußerst anheimelndes Ambiente, das die ursprüngliche Architektur der Gebäude respektiert. In jedem Raum gibt es Tageslicht und Sonne, und Aussicht auf die Gärten und Gemüserabatten. Das große Schwimmbecken bietet die Möglichkeit für angenehme Badestunden und die weitläufigen, mit bequemen Liegen ausgestatteten Ränder laden zum Sonnenbad ein. Der gesamte Komplex liegt innerhalb eines, dem Anbau von Avocados gewidmeten Grundstücks und einer großen Anzahl von Obstbäumen (Orangen, Papaya, Mispel, Mango, etc.), die den Gästen zur Verfügung stehen. Als weiteres Element ist die Wiederherstellung einer alten Höhle zu erwähnen, zu der noch ein Grill und Tische und alles, was für unvergessliche Augenblicke notwendig ist, hinzukommen. All dies führt zusammen mit den herrlichen Ausblicken aufs Meer und auf die Pinienhaine dazu, dass dieses Haus der ideale Ort ist, um einige Tage Ruhe und Entspannung zu genießen, an die Sie sich sicher noch lange erinnern werden.Das Haus Los Abuelos A teilt sich das Schwimmbecken und den Grill mit dem Haus los Abuelos B. Das Schwimmbecken hat folgende Abmessungen: 10 m x 4 m und Tiefen von 1.80 m, 1.60 m und 1.50 m. Die Zufahrt zum Grundstück geht über einen Fahrweg, an dessen Ende sich die Häuser Los Abuelos befinden. Deshalb ist dieser Ort äußerst ruhig und gegen Fahrzeuglärm abgeschirmt. Der Fahrweg ist asphaltiert und etwa 500 m von der Hauptstraße entfernt, die uns nach einer kurzen Strecke von etwa 5 Minuten ins Dorf Tijarafe bringt, wodurch ein perfektes Gleichgewicht zwischen Ruhe und verfügbaren Dienstleistungen (Apotheke, Supermarkt, Bank, etc.) entsteht.Es gibt auch eine Kuppel mit Teleskop sowie eine Bibliothek mit astronomischer Grundlagenliteratur, um ein besonderes nächtliches Erlebnis genießen zu können.
