​Los manantiales en La Palma reciben el nombre de nacientes. Y los nacientes más famosos de la isla son, sin ningún género de dudas, los de Marcos y Cordero. Brotan en la cabecera del Barranco del Agua, dentro del Parque Natural de las Nieves y muy cerca de la finca que dio origen a la Reserva de la Biosfera de La Palma. Ambos resultan fácilmente accesibles a través del sendero homologado PR LP 6, cuyos trece fotogénicos túneles, sumergidos entre pinares y bosques de laurisilva, figuran entre los rincones más inmortalizados de La Palma.​Marcos y Cordero es también el nombre que reciben dos casas rurales ubicadas en el barrio saucero de Las Lomadas, en plena ruta de acceso a los propios nacientes. Son anexas, pertenecen al mismo propietario (lo que da lugar a sugerentes ofertas de alquiler conjunto) y tienen una capacidad alojativa máxima de tres personas cada una. El lavadero, la barbacoa y el horno de leña son comunes a las dos viviendas. Y lo mismo sucede con la bodega: la degustación de sus vinos, sin importar la cantidad, está incluida en el precio del alquiler.

Conviene saber que lo confortable de sus instalaciones y el exquisito servicio al cliente permite que ambos establecimientos puedan lucir la codiciada marca Q, que otorga el Instituto para la Calidad Turística Española. Y por si fuera poco, su tematización astroturística significa que cada una de las casas dispone de su propio telescopio, además de planisferios, libros y otros materiales de consulta.

Springs in La Palma are called “nacientes”. And the most famous springs on the island are undoubtedly the Marcos y Cordero Springs. They rise at the head of El Agua Ravine, in the Las Nieves Nature Park, close to the property that was the origin of the La Palma Biosphere Reserve. They are both relatively easily accessible along the PR LP 6 trail, which includes thirteen photogenic tunnels among the pine and laurel forest that are some of the favourite subjects for photographs in La Palma.Marcos and Cordero are also the names given to two cottages in the Las Sauces village of Las Lomadas, right on the access track to the springs. They are adjacent to each other and belong to the same owner (making it possible to rent both of them together) and they can sleep up to a maximum of three people each. The wash tub, the barbecue and the wood-fired oven are shared by the two cottages. The same is true of the wine cellar, tasting sessions, however much you want; it is all included in the price of the rent.It is worth knowing that the comfortable facilities and the exquisite customer service have won the highly sought after “Q” quality label for both establishments, awarded by the Spanish Tourism Quality Institute. And as if that were not enough, the astronomy theme means that each cottage has its own telescope, star maps, books and other material. The cellar is decorated with a photograph taken at night from the house and has a night-time video camera with a time-lapse mechanism. 

 

 

 

 

 

Die Quellen auf La Palma werden Nacientes genannt. Und die berühmtesten davon sind zweifellos die von Marcos und Cordero. Sie entspringen am Kopfende der Schlucht Barranco del Agua, im Naturpark Las Nieves und ganz in der Nähe des Grundstücks, das den Ursprung des Reservats der Biosphäre auf La Palma darstellte. Beide sind leicht über den offiziell anerkannten Wanderweg PR LP 6 zu erreichen, dessen dreizehn fotogene Tunnel, eingebettet in Pinienhaine und Lorbeerwälder, zu den am meisten verewigten Winkeln von La Palma gehören.
Marcos y Cordero ist auch die Benennung zweier ländlicher Unterkünfte, die im Viertel Las Lomadas von Sauces, an der Route, die zu den Quellen führt, liegen. Sie liegen nebeneinander und gehören demselben Eigentümer (wodurch verlockende Angebote einer gemeinsamen Miete möglich sind) und fassen jede maximal drei Personen. Waschplatz, Grill und Holzofen haben beide Wohnhäuser gemeinsam. Dasselbe ist für den Weinkeller der Fall: die Verkostung der Weine, ungeachtet der Menge, ist im Mietpreis inbegriffen.
Man sollte wissen, dass der Komfort der Einrichtungen und der sorgfältige Dienst am Kunden beiden Häusern das namhafte Markenzeichen Q eingetragen haben, das vom Instituto para la Calidad Turística Española (Institut für Spanische Fremdenverkehrsqualität) verliehen wird. Und nicht genug damit, bedeutet die astrotouristische Thematik auch, dass jedes der beiden Häuser über ein eigenes Teleskop sowie Himmelskarten, Bücher und sonstige Nachschlagewerke verfügt. Der Weinkeller ist mit einer Nachtaufnahme geschmückt, die vom Haus aus aufgenommen wurde und besitzt auch exklusiv für das Haus ein Nachtvideo mit Time Lapse Technik.
